    Overview

    The Role

     

    Reporting to the UK & Ireland Sales Manager, the Key Account Executive in the South will responsible for up to 40 Accounts with our Independent Partners. Key responsibilities include:

     

    • Working to a four week journey plan.
    • Working with each independent partner to devise a Key Customer Business Plan.
    • Driving sales by ensuring each partner has the right space, product range, stock availability and product knowledge to deliver in line with the Key Customer Business Plan.
    • Negotiating display space, capturing orders, introducing new products, providing product training and ensuring that products are merchandised and marketed in line with the Mamas & Papas brand.
    • Maintaining competitor awareness and sharing insights with head office stakeholders.
    • Working with buying, merchandising, global sales support and marketing to deliver a partnership model.
    • Contributing and attending the UK Buying Event.
    • Supporting at UK Baby Shows and International events.
    • Acting as a Mamas & Papas ambassador at all times.

    The Person

     

    The ideal candidate will be in a regional/ field sales executive or trainee merchandiser role ideally within the consumer goods industry. Alternatively you may be a Retail Manager within the nursery industry seeking a move into a regional position.

     

    • Ideally you will be based in the M4 corridor or the M25 corridor. You will be willing to work away from home up to 3 nights per week and must have a full driving licence.
    • You will have the ability to build strong, collaborative partnerships and the ability to act as a brand guardian.
    • You will demonstrate strong communication and influencing skills alongside a results orientated approach.
    • You will have a can do attitude and demonstrate a solid work ethic alongside the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
